About

Caught on tape!

Actor, writer, editor, filmmaker and generally overambitious dude, catch a glimpse at the projects that I’ve done on film!
These projects all hold a special little place in my nerdy, freakish heart…

While I love writing and directing, those take the spotlight way too much. I loved my time at school and getting to experience and try so many different roles. Editing, assistant directing, producing, props, location scouting, special effects, costumes, grip… Get me on a set, in a planning room, or working on post-production… I love every second of it.

Plus I make a great P.A.

If I’m not doing some new crafting hobby, I’m probably doing comedy in some way, somewhere. I’ve been doing improv for just about 9 years, stand-up for 3 years, and sketch comedy for a little over a year and a half.

A recent graduate of the University of Kansas (class of 2025, rock chalk) I left my time at KU with two degrees, Film Production and Theatre Performance.

While at college, I made sure to keep busy! I spent most of my time leading the comedy clubs at KU.

  • KU’s one and only improv team, Sunny Side Improv. Before my two years as president, I was social media manager fall 2022-spring 2023, and outreach coordinator in spring 2022!
  • In October 2023, two of my fellow improvisers and I founded KU’s one and only sketch comedy team, Scrambled Eggs Sketch Comedy,
  • Fall 2024 I founded KU’s one and only late night comedy show, Breakfast for Dinner, which acted as my senior capstone. I hosted, was president, and showrunner for this project that I am so, so proud of.

In spring of 2024, I was recognized by the Student Involvement Leadership Center as a recipient of the Rock Chalk Recognition award in the “individual student” category. “The Individual Student Category aims to recognize the work of any exemplary student leader at KU.” I received this award from my leadership in KU’s improv club, Sunny Side Improv.

Alongside the incredible exec team, I helped create KU’s first ever KU improv festival, cracKUp improv fest. The second annual fest took place in March of 2025 and was a huge success with double the collegiate teams, two additional professional teams, and the expansion of our alumni team.

From June 2023-May 2024, I was the Head of Graphic Design for kYOU magazine, a college collage, started by Rachel Paese (one of my closest friends) for her senior year thesis project!

Some of my favorite things to do include being overly competitive when playing boardgames, rewatching When Harry Met Sally, collecting any form of physical media that I can (CD’s, DVD’s, VHS tapes, records, cassette tapes…), being the weakest link on my trivia team (unless something about Chicago or some obscure 80’s movie is asked) or annoying my friends with my Jennifer Coolidge impression, or my impression of Tom Hardy’s Bane (from The Dark Knight Rises).

And that’s probably everything you need to know and more!
