“Breakfast for Dinner”
My capstone.
If you’re unfamiliar, most college programs end with a “capstone project” this is typically a paper that shows everything you’ve learned during your time at your university. The skills, the technique, the knowledge. As a theatre student, this usually is a live performance. As a film student, this is typically a short film. But as an annoying double-major, that to me didn’t encapsulate everything I’ve done and everything I wish to do.
Instead I chose to create a late night comedy show. I started the project as Showrunner, founder, and co-host. With an incredible team by my side, this effort of silliness was made real. One episode still sits… locked up in a vault… banging on the doors to be let out. Perhaps someday soon it will breathe fresh air and see the light of day. But not today!
