Sketch Comedy

Founded by myself and two friends October of my junior year of college, Scrambled Eggs Sketch Comedy was born from the intense carnal need to make our friends laugh. After meeting through improv, we went mad with greed and wanted to make as much comedy with each other as possible.

The club quickly grew, and in just a year turned from a silly thing we filmed with our phones to full film productions. When the club started we had a strong but mighty group of nine members, but when I l graduated we had closer to 30! And I like to think we’re were pretty funny. I hope.

When leaving KU, I was awarded the Best Body of Work award at the film awards, on behalf of Scrambled Eggs Sketch Comedy. Besides writing, my final year was spent primarily as Head Producer and Showrunner for the club, along with others such as practical effects, script supervisor, AD, editor, and the other standard duties of an overachieving President and Founder.

2024-2025 season was awarded Best Body of Work in the KU Film awards, The Tensies.

• Assistant directing

• Making a take-out container’s amount of fake blood for a demon sketch
• Creating a life-size dummy to drop down a stairwell from the ceiling
